| A typist who worked in the Royal Air Force has received a compensation payment totalling £484,000 after her job caused her to develop Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI). This payment reflects the court's belief that the ex member condition will now prevent her from securing employment in the future. A spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence said, "Medical experts agree that the claimant would be unlikely to return to part or full-time work, as the condition had become permanent.
